Ko Shin Moon’s Sîn is a kaleidoscopic, high-energy LP inspired by the raw momentum of the duo’s live show. Named for the Mesopotamian moon deity and echoing the English notion of transgression, the album traces a journey from dawn to dusk and from open fields to cityscapes—balancing boundary‑pushing impulses with a quest for wholeness. Built from a vivid blend of digital, electric and acoustic instruments, it explores themes of the forbidden, the pursuit of the absolute, finiteness, speed and hyperconnectivity. From the pop surrealism of Le Soleil and the Bollywood‑tinged disco of Hayati, to the Anatolian rhythms of Perperişan featuring Turkish pop star Mabel Matiz, Sîn fuses territories, eras and imaginary soundscapes into multicoloured collages. Wa’wy Ya Thiba (“Howl, she‑Wolf!”) featuring Syrian singer Sarah Husein reimagines a traditional song from northeastern Syria about forbidden love, while Arkad and Bleu keep the party in grand, frenetic motion.
