Self Evident Truth is the debut EP from The S.E.T., a Baltimore hardcore outfit featuring bassist Che (Flatspot Records founder), guitarist Brady Ebert (ex-Turnstile), drummer Ryan (ex-End It), and vocalist Tim. Across roughly 15 minutes, the band delivers unrelenting, groove-driven hardcore that nods to hometown pioneers Gut Instinct and Stout as well as New York crossover icons Leeway and Judge. Recorded and mixed by Justin Day at New Noise Recording and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, these tracks hit with thick bass lines, rapid-fire drums, and rage-fueled vocals.
