Release Date: 12/12/25
Gary Numan’s landmark second solo album Telekon, the third chapter of his influential “machine” phase alongside Replicas and The Pleasure Principle, returns in a 45th Anniversary Expanded Edition. A UK No.1 on release, Telekon blends icy synth textures with guitars and strings, a sound that helped shape generations of alternative and industrial music—Trent Reznor has cited it as a key influence during the making of Pretty Hate Machine. This expanded edition adds four previously unreleased recordings: the never-before-heard Like A B-Film from the original sessions, plus early versions of Please Push No More, Aircrash Bureau and I’m An Agent. The album has been remastered by Geoff Pesche at Abbey Road and features revised artwork by Michael Speed. Select formats include a replica of the original 12-page Telekon tour booklet. “I was very proud of it... I was still trying to move forward, find new sounds.” —Gary Numan
