Previously self-released on CD in 2004, Flower Aeroplane is now released on Vinyl for the first time. Poly Styrene's Flower Aeroplane album marked a departure from the loud, rebellious energy of her punk band X-Ray Spex, showing a more introspective and experimental side of her artistry. Flower Aeroplane is characterised by a minimalist, ethereal sound that blends elements of post-punk, new wave, and ambient music, with softer instrumentation and a more delicate vocal style from Poly Styrene.
