Ladytron - Velocifero (NAD 2026)

Release Date: 17/10/2026

National Album Day 2026

Format: 2LP

National Album Day exclusive coloured pressing - Ladytron’s Velocifero is a defining statement from one of Britain’s most distinctive electronic bands, blending dark synth-pop, analogue textures and art-school experimentation into a sleek, emotionally resonant sound. Their fourth studio album and first with Nettwerk, it captures the Liverpool-formed group at a creative peak, pairing driving rhythms with icy vocals, multilingual elements and cinematic production. Featuring standout tracks like “Ghosts,” “Runaway” and “Tomorrow,” the album was widely acclaimed for its precision and innovation, reinforcing Ladytron’s reputation - hailed by Brian Eno as “the best of English pop music” - and cementing Velocifero as a key release in late-2000s electronica.
