Pretty On The Inside returns with enhanced fidelity, keeping the raw spirit of the original recording intact. Produced by Kim Gordon and Don Fleming, it introduced Hole at full force, fearless in its blend of noise, punk, and alternative rock.
With the original lineup of Courtney Love, Eric Erlandson, Jill Emery, and Caroline Rue, the album established the band’s singular voice. It still sounds visceral, provocative, and vital, just as it did when it first broke out of the alternative underground.
