Plain Jane - Moody Joody

Release Date: 30/10/26

Nashville trio Moody Joody make a striking first impression with Plain Jane, their debut album arriving via Photo Finish Records.

Bursting with shimmering hooks, driving guitars and infectious melodies, the album pairs irresistible indie-pop energy with sharp songwriting and emotional depth. Following its titular heroine through relationships, transformation, societal expectations and self-discovery, Plain Jane is a bold, cathartic statement.

Moody Joody share a barrage of songs both outrageously fun and powerfully cathartic, all born from a personal metamorphosis that Kayla Hall refers to as “abandoning the versions of ourselves that we’ve outgrown.”
