Kevin Morby’s eighth studio album, Little Wide Open, produced by Aaron Dessner and recorded at Long Pond Studio in 2025. Featuring contributions from Amelia Meath, Andrew Barr, Justin Vernon, Katie Gavin, Lucinda Williams, and Meg Duffy, the album explores Midwestern themes of vast skies, memory, and time, with a renewed clarity reminiscent of Tom Petty’s Wildflowers. Positioned as the final part of a trilogy following Sundowner (2020) and This Is a Photograph (2022), it captures Morby’s shift from nostalgia toward embracing the flow of time.
