Teen of Denial: Joe’s Story is a freshly reimagined take on Car Seat Headrest’s beloved breakout, Teens of Denial, celebrating its 10th anniversary. Will Toledo revisits the material, giving the character “Joe” a backstory with updated arrangements, revised lyrics, and new songs recorded with producer Steve Fisk, retaining the album’s dark edge while adding new perspective and compassion.
