Hot Chip’s The Warning arrived like a kaleidoscopic bolt from the blue, turning a generation onto the ecstatic thrill of repetitive beats. Packed with ambitious genre-blending and standout tracks such as “Over & Over” and “Boy From School,” the album earned critical acclaim and a Mercury Prize nomination. This special 20th‑anniversary reissue celebrates that breakthrough with newly written liner notes by Kate Hutchinson.
