The Weight of the Woods is Dermot Kennedy’s third studio album—a defining evolution that grounds his global sound in the spirit and emotional honesty of his Irish roots. Crafted across Ireland and Nashville with producer Gabe Simon (Noah Kahan, Lana Del Rey), it blends intimate storytelling with soaring, cinematic arrangements. Standout tracks like Honest, Refuge, Sycamore, and The Only Time I Prayed showcase Kennedy’s raw vocals and lyrical depth. With over 4.5 billion streams worldwide, he delivers a body of work that feels both expansive and deeply personal.
