Tahiti 80 - Rejoice (An Inventory of Pop Maps)

25/09/26

Rejoice is surely the album Tahiti 80 always wanted to make: free from all constraints, driven by curiosity. A collection of independent songs that speak to each other without sounding alike, yet form a cohesive whole, somewhere between the freedom of the White Album and the eclecticism of a Souljazz compilation.

With elegant melodies and bold grooves blending pop, electro and rock, Tahiti 80 have created a unique and instantly recognisable musical world. Nearly thirty years after their debut, the Rouen-based band's eleventh album is a sonic adventure where powerful songs and unprecedented musical explorations intertwine, reflecting their eternal desire to reinvent themselves — without ever betraying the essence that defines them.
