Close to the Edgeis a landmark release from one of the greatest rock ensembles in history. Forget the prog cliches, this album is a mammoth collision of brutal rock dynamics (ripped off by every modern post rock band since the 80s).
The grandiose orchestration on this album is something that even Sigur Ros would die for. The experimentation onClose to the Edgeis taken from 60 years of the avant-garde, making it a truly unique and groundbreaking piece of music.
